Provincetown Striped Bass

Striped Bass caught on High Hook last season

Last June and July was great fishing for big Striped Bass off the coast of Provincetown. A quick 40min run from Duxbury harbor gets us in on the action with big fish 20 to 40 pounds. Also, Mid-May through June is great fishing the local bays of Duxbury, Kingston, and Plymouth. Small striped Bass are showing up any day now and the hold overs from last year have started to feed. Book your day today as days are filling up. www.FishHighHook.com

Haddock Fishing Mid May

Haddock Fishing trips Massachusetts.

Offering Haddock trips starting mid-May. Last years haddock fishing was insane and we expect it to be very good this year as well. These trips consist of heading out to Stellwagen bank and fishing the bottom for Cod and Haddock. The Cod must go back do to new regulations, but the Haddock are a great eating fish. Spots are very limited as we will only be offering these trips starting Mid-may. If interested email [email protected] or visit www.FishHighHook.com

Bluefin Tuna fishing red hot!

The Bluefin Tuna fishing the last couple weeks has been red hot with a lot of fish in the 60-70 inch range. Some big ones have been mixed in as well. Seems like one out of every 5 or so is a keeper. Great fish for charters as we have been getting multiple hook ups each day. we have landed over 25 in the last two weeks. Get out while the fishing is good.
A few pictures from the last couple weeks.

First giant Bluefin Tuna landed

Yesterday we landed our first Bluefin Tuna of the season measuring 81in and just over 300lbs. It’s nice to see the fish around Stellwagon again. Fish sightings from Peaked Hill Bar to out East of the Bank. Striped Bass trips in the bay all weekend but will be back at it next week.

Big Striped Bass on light tackle

We had a nice trip this morning landing 15 or so Striped Bass over 34in and a few over 40. The fishing is hot right now with big schools of fish showing up on both tides. Best chance at the big ones is live bait, but you can pick your way through the shorts with trolling gear. Here are are couple pictures from today’s trip.
