Smaller Tuna jumping a few miles from shore

One out of every two trips to the bank this month we ran across pods of small tuna (40-80) pounds jumping out of the water. I have seen them as close as three miles off of the Gurnet light house.  The only real way to hook up on one of these fish is to throw a popper or slug-o right into the school of breaking fish.  For some reason they wont even touch squid bars or live pogies.  Attached is a picture we took of one jumping three and a half miles off of Gurnet.
