Here is a video of a Bluefin Tuna being unloaded which was caught onboard High Hook this Fall in Massachusetts bay. I was fishing live whiting in a chum line for only about 30 minutes before I hooked up. I was fishing alone that day and had to call someone over to jump on the boat once i realized the size of it.

After catching a 600lb Bluefin Tuna last year on their first Tuna trip, it was going to be hard to beat that. We had the kite bait in the water for maybe 10 minutes before hooking into the giant last year which both of them fought on stand up gear. This year, after catching a few blue sharks, we had a Tuna take the balloon bait around noon time. It took about 30 minutes for Luke and Ryan Stevens to reel it in. The fish was a little under 300lbs. One for the truck.

Here are a couple pictures from the Jason Trulby Striped Bass trip the other week. We managed to catch around 10 fish with most of them being keepers. The fishing had slowed down a bit but it should pick up again with the commercial season ending.

Here is some quick footage of one of the keepers we caught last week. This one measured 81 inches and weighed around 300 pounds. The fish hit a pogie off of the kite during an afternoon bite on the southern edge of Peaked Hill sandbar. Enjoy the camera mount on the T-Top

On Saturday Morning we went out for a half day Striped Bass trip and had some pretty good success..We fished mainly in Durxbury and Kingston bays. All together we caught around 6 fish and four of them were around 37-38 inchers. Below are some pictures of the fish we caught.

Bill Mayo-Smith and his two sons came out for a half day of Striped Bass fishing trip on Monday. We were getting some good bites in the morning but with all the boat traffic a Sunday brings, the fishing died down around 9. Below is a picture of them with a few nice keepers they had caught.

Jack Murphy landed this 79 inch, just under 300 pound Bluefin Tuna on our trip last Thursday. We had hooked the fish on a pogie about 10 feet from the boat on a free swimmer. The bite was down near the golf ball behind P-Town. The fish took around 40 minutes to pull up.

Russ Pelham and his daughter landed some nice Striped Bass on our trip this week. The mackerel fishing was real slow. The only real way to get them was to spot them on the surface and drive right over them and get the lines full. We did that for about 30 minutes until we had the live well full. The Striped Bass bite was a little slow but we still managed around 10 keepers or so. I don’t plan on the Mackerel being here much longer as we might have to start chunk fishing or using live pogies.

On Thursday we landed a nice 300 pound Bluefin which we caught on a live Mackerel. We hooked the fish in the afternoon between the Southwest corner and Peaked Hill sand bar in about 180 feet of water. The fish are slowly making there way up to the corner
